  1. Phone them.

  2. It's hard to give a definitive answer either way.  VIA bases pricing on demand, much like airlines do.  They take into account they day of the week, the time of the year and such things as that.  Another factor is the level of service.  There is comfort class (equivalent to coach on an airplane) and VIA 1 (1st class).  If you select comfort, there are supersaver, special, discount and regular fares available.  If you select VIA 1 there are discount and regular fares.  Also there are different fares for adults, seniors, children, students and youths.  Finally, travelling from London to Ottawa requires you to switch trains in Toronto.  So will you may not be able to get the same fare on both segments if one is sold out.  So as you can see, it is difficult to give an exact answer.  But in general, the Supersaver Comfort fare will be your cheapest and the Regular VIA 1 fare will be the most expensive.  Hope that helps you out.

  3. I'm not sure you should be able to find the answer on the site. But if you can't ,then maybe consider taking a bus as it's the most cheapiest mode of transportation.
