I'll have my luggage with me so the bus is out so I'm thinking of taking a cab after coming back from Paris.

  1. why would you want to spend a fortune on taxi fares when the underground is right there? ... the Piccadilly line runs from Kings Cross St Pancras station (right underneath the Eurostar terminal) straight through to Heathrow airport ... so unless you have an absolute mountain of luggage I'd save your money and take the tube

  2. Cab raid to Heathrow is  50 pounds

  3. As everyone else has pointed out already, taking a cab all the way would be a needlessly expensive option!

If you really have a lot of luggage (i.e. too much to take on the tube) one option would be to take the Heathrow Express or Heathrow Connect train service from Paddington station.

A cab from St Pancras to Paddington will set you back around £10-15 (an estimate) and you can wheel your luggage from the cab to the train.

This is likely to be at least as quick (if not quicker) than the Piccadilly Line PLUS you'll get to see a bit of London.

  4. theres no point spending a fortune on taxi fairs. just jump on the underground its much cheaper.
