I am 13. I have been getting into freestyle skiing for about the past year now, but i have never owned twin tips. the problem i had with my other skis was that they were way to heavy, so every time i went for a grab, it would take a tremendous amount of force to lift my ski. I am considering buying these skis: http://www.sportchek.ca/sportchek/do/style?menuId=243&styleId=31006. They are very cheap and a no name brand but i was hoping to get a few runs in with them this year, and i'm a little low on cash. so yea, price for taking the bindings from my old skis, and if it's a good decision for the skis.

  1. Save up and buy some good skis.  Cheap can be good if you're a beginner or just trying to get going but in my experience if I cheap out I wind up replacing them before long and spending more money than I would have to buy good ones in the first place.

Ask when you're buying your skis, they might just re-mount them for you for free.
