How much would it cost to visit the Amazon Rainforest?

Generally how much would it cost to visit the Amazon Rainforest for a week? This includes for the prices of vaccinations, airfare, etc. Any information at all would be greatly appreciated.

None, if you live there, LOL, I lived there, trust me, Amazonas, not a good blace to visit. I recommend Atlantis Resort, Nassau, The Bahamas!!! Been there, AWSOME!!!!

Excluding airfares, which depend on the distance fro the Amazon to where you live, with US$2000 you can have a terrific week.

Vaccinations should be done before you leave there and not knowing where you are coming from...don't know how much they cost there. You should get yellow fever vaccine and find current status of any outbreaks of illness from government website.

You may want to talk to doc about anti-malarial drugs, I personally try to stay away from the mosquitos.

It really depends on where you are going and the current conditions there.

Flight from Lima to amazons will cost approximately $100 one way.

You can stay in hostel for $10, 2 or 3 star hotel for $40 or a nice hotel for $80.

Once you get there, beers are relatively cheap, food is cheap and good, people are wonderful.
