just go to your post office with a good amount of currency of yours   maybe a couple dollars U.S. and it shouldnt be more than that at all.

It usually only cost's $100,000 USD unless it is bulky or heavy then it were talking millions.

Don't know about to Ireland for sure, but just sent one to Japan and it cost 90 cents, so would assume it would be about the same. Take it to the post office and they will tell you for sure.

An international stamp is 90 cents.  I just sent a letter to Lebanon and that was how much it cost.
