How much would someone get at a junk yard for a car?

I have a 99 Chevy Prism (mid sized 4 door) it has 110000 miles on it, one side is pretty dingged up and its on a dought. It's not worth fixing up so i'm looking to scrap it. I live in the Western New York area and was wondering roughly how much I could get for a car like this at a junk yard?

i live in connecticut when i brought my 95' mercury mystique to a junk yard i got $100 dont expect much...

I would say no more than a couple hundred dollars for it.

Sell it on craigslist for parts as is. Ask $1000 and take your best offer. Most junkyards today won't pay much (if at all).

500 or less, really depends on where you and and what the condition of the car is.
