I would need them to also put it in the box for me. I dont know how, although it's probably really easy. I already have all the wires to hook everything up, and I already have the amp, sub and box. All I need is for it to be installed(hopefully I wont need another battery or alternator...it's a 15 inch 1000 RMS sub...would you think my car could handle that without anymore special equipment?) So,how much do you think a shop would charge to hook this system up for me? I already had a system in this car before, so it shouldnt be hard for them. I wouldnt need dianamite or anything either since I dont mind the trunk rattling noise.

  1. It basically depends on the shop. If they do alot of business then they tend to charge more, unless you know the people that work there. Small place building a rep, would not sharge very much, just because you will say that you spent X amount there installing your equipment, and that will eventually send other people there to have theirs installed as well.

  2. about 80 to 100 bucks

  3. They will probably get as much money as they can out of you... I would say 80 for 1 hour of work, it will probably take them 15 minutes at most if like you said all the wires are hooked up...  all you have to do is wire the power, ground, remote (on off lead), the rca's for signal, and then depending on your amp you just wire the speaker. if it's more than 1 channel amplifier then you need to bridge it down to a signal channel for your woofer.  Enjoy the bass.   Plus learning to do that stuff yourself is a fun hobby and will save you tons.
