How much would the cab fare be from tullamarine airport to Carlton, Melbourne?

i'm thinkinn should i catch a cab or catch a bus into the city ($16) and then catch a cab to Carlton (around $12...i think)...so altogether around $28....so am i better off catching a cab all the way from the airport cuz I will have heaps of luggage (3 heavy bags) with me....Also...if i catch the bus into the city...wonder how difficult it would be to lug it all to a cab after i dropped in the city....or is there a cab rank right where the bus would me.
