How much would the cost of ticket be for stopping on railroad tracks in CA?

  1. In CA, the last I heard, it was $1200.  Outside jail time and auto insurance ramifications, it is nearly as costly as a ticket for drunk driving.

    And, Rango is right, as usual.  If you intentionally play with a train and that causes a train wreck where life is lost, or intentionally wreck a train, it carries the death penalty (unless this too has been changed).

    Normally I am opposed to capital punishment, but in an instance such as this, the execution may prevent the stUPid gene from being passed on......


  2. As long as you steal the car you park on the tracks, I can't see it costing you a dime.

  3. Dont know the cost of a ticket but a funeral will run several thousand.

    I suppose it would depend on several issues, but intentionally stopping could be construed as wreckless endangement which can be a very large penalty including prison time if the judge decides to.

    Hard to imagine a stupider activity actually.
