  1. Hiya basically o2 have paid for the rights to only have the iphone on there tarif for 5 years since they came out. This then means that you have to get a plan on o2 really. The iphone is free on our £75 tariff. Then you'll just pay £59 with the £45 tariff and £159 on our £30 and £35 tariffs.

The £75 tariff consists of 3000 minutes nd 500 texts

The £45 tariff is 1200 min and 500 texts

£35 tariff is 600 min and 500 texts and the

£30 tariff is 75 min and 125 texts

O2 will not change the tariffs at all to give you unlimited texts or anything as they do not need to as they do not have to compete in the market

However the iPhone is availiable on pay & Go later on this year however 02 have not yet released a date for this.

If not you can try buying off ebay hacking into the software and using another companies sim however you will have to pay about £300 for the Iphone

    Hope this helps

  2. As above but NEVER JAILBREAK to gain access to other carriers SIM's once yu have the iPhone. You can buy SIM overlays that fool the iphone into thinking the SIM is really from an authorised carrier.

Jailbreaking causes so many problems and yet adds nearly nothing!

the 2.0.2 software form apple is stable and works well and lets you add hundreds of apps (many free) from the itunes App Store.

Jail breaking became redundant when the 2.0 software was released as it add almost nothing to the iPhones abilities (other than the ability to browse its file structure which also makes it less secure).

Jail breaking also voids the warranty and does cause many issues form files vanishing, memory leaks and loss, rebooting and even failing to boot.
