  1. why not have it appraised by a professional in the field who is from your area or talk to a curator or the owner of an art gallery in town they should be able to point you in the right direction or refer you to someone who can.

The only other option I see is to find out where Antique Roadshow will go next :)

  2. Public auction results for Andrew Wyeth: http://www.findartinfo.com/search/listpr...

  3. why would you ask US? email Sotheby's, see how much they'd auction it off for. But remember, they'll take a big bite out of your profits...

  4. I actually spent a bit of time trying to find the value of an original Wyeth.  There were appraisal services and all sorts of information, but what sticks out is they won't even say what they think an original Wyeth is worth.  They're just selling prints for $35.00 apciece.  Andrew Wyeth is an artist's artist, and is most famous and I imagine his works would bring hundreds of thousands, if not millions of dollars.  Like I said, I couldn't find this information after some due diligence, so I'm only guessing.  That said, I can't help but be a little skeptical that you own this original.

  5. Ask Christie.or Sotheby's to auction it for you. They  are an auction house  and more knowledgeable about original painting especially with known American artist. They more realiable valueing works of art with known artist.

  6. A picture paints a thousand words. Must see the piece of art.
