How much would you estimate on how much firefighters get paid every month?

But im guessing  a full time firefighter would get paid 2 to 3 thousand dollars a month.

That would depend completely on what city or town you're talking about and how long the person has been a firefighter and what position they hold within the department.

Many rural areas have volunteer fire departments. They get paid in donuts and coffee (and sometimes a sandwich).
