Hi, I’m thinking of renting a 1931 Lincoln Touring Limo for 5 hours for my wedding.

I am getting married on Halloween and having my reception at an old historic mansion, so this vehicle is perfect.

I was quoted at $975 for the 5 hours and this included gratuity and a charge for gas. Does this seem reasonable? I’ve been told that this is expensive, and others say that this is very reasonable for a vintage vehicle. Has anyone else gotten a classic car/limo and how much did you pay or were you quoted? Thanks.

  1. I just went on a Limo ride 2 weeks ago here in San Diego. It is the only stretched Rolls Royce Limo in the U.S. My friend paid $500 plus gas and a hefty tip. Total time was about 6.5 hrs. We were all disappointed and will never do that again. It was terribly hot and no air circulation. Also, was cramped with 11 people in our party. Just make sure you have plenty of room and everything works like they promote. After all, it's your wedding day and you don't need any problem's on your special day. Congrat's to you both !

  2. It sounds outrageous to me but it also depends on where you live.  And it is a lot more expensive for a 30s car since it's so expensive to maintain.  But at close to $200 an hour-especially since for most of those hours it is just sitting there waiting--I wouldn't do it.

But that one does look like a Rolls Royce and as such that price is probably about spot on to what others in your area would charge you.  It is a gorgeous car.  Just make sure you get a LOT of pictures in it to make it worth while.
