  1. Likely nothing - you don't get pain and suffering for workers comp, and it would depend on how much it impairs your future ability to work.  If you're not a musician, You can likely function just as well without it.  Even though I'm sure you miss it a lot.


  2. Whether you would get anything from anybody beyond whatever it takes to stop the bleeding, depends upon whose fault it is.  If there were safety violations, you might have a case.  If it was your own fault, maybe nothing.

    You have not provided any details for anyone to guess.  And what happened to the fingertip, that it could not be sewn back on.
