I'm trying to sell my car on craigs list and I'm not sure how much to ask for it. I was thinking around 1000.00, since it's still in pretty good shape, and the engine still has under 100k miles. Let me know what you think.

  1. 1500,since u have low mileage for the year of the car

  2. 1000.00 is a good prise

  3. Toyota Camrys retain value perhaps the best of any used car in America, it is really according to the exact model and the condition but a nice one inside and out could bring as much as $3000.

    I would buy a nice Camry for $1000 in a heart beat.

    Try going to http://www.KBB.com and selecting specific details of your car.

  4. offer him or them 2500.00 cash and see what happens then bargain from there dont go over 3k no no , well i weouldn't but there great cars my uncle works for the CIA no bullshit and he is on his 5th Camary or Camry he loves wouldnt buy any other and he'd loaded with money so there's the proof my buddy on his 4th there awesome cars>>>>Good Luck

  5. 7500.00

  6. Look at Kelly Blue Book, at http://www.kbb.com/

    They set the standard. Go there,and click USED CARS at the top.

    Then select Year, Make and Model and hit Go.

    The next screen will ask you your Zip code ( I put in 91311), and then you get to choose from

    Trade-In Value, what consumers can expect to receive from a dealer for a trade-in vehicle.

    Private Party Value, what a buyer can expect to pay when buying a used car from a private party. or

    Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer.

    Clicking the 2nd, you get mode choices:

    --Camry Deluxe Sedan 4D

    --Camry Deluxe Wagon 4D

    --Camry LE Sedan 4D

    --Camry LE Wagon 4D

    --Camry XLE Sedan 4D

    --Camry SE Sedan 4D

    I clicked LE 4 Door, and now it asks what engine trans and equipment it has. you go from there. If I leave it at it's default (AC power steering and AM/FM). I put in it has 90,000 miles and the next choice is to to put in Excellent, Good, Fair or Poor condition (with explanation of each; see under the === line); I put in Fair.

    It comes back and says:

    Excellent $3,700

    Good $3,325

    Fair $2,875

    --------------------------------------...

    Suggested retail (what a dealer would price it at) is $5000.

    --------------------------------------...

    Trade in on a new car:

    Excellent $2,475

    Good $2,150

    Fair $1,650

    ===========================

    Conditions:

       -->>Excellent

        * Looks new, is in excellent mechanical condition and needs no reconditioning.

        * Never had any paint or body work and is free of rust.

        * Clean title history and will pass a smog and safety inspection.

        * Engine compartment is clean, with no fluid leaks and is free of any wear or visible defects.

        * Complete and verifiable service records.

    Less than 5% of all used vehicles fall into this category.

    -->>Good

        * Free of any major defects.

        * Clean title history, the paints, body, and interior have only minor (if any) blemishes, and there are no major mechanical problems.

        * Little or no rust on this vehicle.

        * Tires match and have substantial tread wear left.

        * A "good" vehicle will need some reconditioning to be sold at retail.

    Most consumer owned vehicles fall into this category.

    -->>Fair

        * Some mechanical or cosmetic defects and needs servicing but is still in reasonable running condition.

        * Clean title history, the paint, body and/or interior need work performed by a professional.

        * Tires may need to be replaced.

        * There may be some repairable rust damage.

    -->>Poor

        * Severe mechanical and/or cosmetic defects and is in poor running condition.

        * May have problems that cannot be readily fixed such as a damaged frame or a rusted-through body.

        * Branded title (salvage, flood, etc.) or unsubstantiated mileage.

  7. Ask 1500. I'm sure it gets good gas millage. that's important now. and that low mileage is phenomenal
