How much would you pay a co worker to fix your computer?

~ I have a co worker comming over in a few minutes,,,,,we have had no sound for months,,,he said he should be able to fix it....how much should I pay him for comming over and working on my computer???

Give him pizza and beer.  Likely it's something really easy, like it's not plugged in correctly.

When he's done - Ask him how much you owe him.

If he's coming over to fix your computer (unless he has a side business repairing computers) - he will probably say "no charge".

In which case you can treat him to lunch or dinner sometime.

If he gives you a price - write him a check. That way you have documented that you paid him for the service.
