  1. A case of beer and I will buy the minnows.

  2. What type of boat trip?

We do sight seeing trips that are 1 1/2 hour long for $15 a person

    Lunch Cruises - 2 hours and food - $35

    Dinner Cruises - 3 hours and food - $50

Crab Feast - 3 hours and crab feast - $50

I know local captains that do fishing parties for 4 people for starting at $400,  Crabbing trips for up to 6 for $650 (6 - 8 hours).

And of course an Ocean Cruise - depends on where and type of cabin - $600 to $10,000 plus.

  3. 2.00 and that my final offer

  4. Well, I'm leaving Wednesday for a three week boat trip in the Caribbean.   My  boat cost me about US$ 115,000.  The two of us expect to spend about $60 each per day for food, fuel, mooring fees, meals, etc.

Given all the factors over time such as depreciation, income, fuel, etc., it probably costs me about $1,200/week to sail an average of 5 weeks year, not including flights to and from the boat.

    So, that's what I'd spend.

For some of my friends who join me however, it only costs a case of beer and a few minnows.   Depending on the trip, maybe some wine instead of minnows...
