  1. I would say up to $1,500. But not more...

It also depends how long it is. We paid $1,200 for six hours.

If your wedding will be shorter, it pays to ask for a lower price.

  2. Since my photographer didnt do video i had to hire two seperate people. i paid the photographer $1360 and the videographer $1200. i know it was a lot of money but they were both totally worth it. they filmed and photographed us from the moment we woke up until the very end. it was great.

  3. Probably nothing. We didn't want to have our wedding videoed. A friend did tape the wedding, and I was horrified to watch it. I much prefer my own memories of the day to the video.

  4. 800

  5. Not very helpful I don't suppose but, nothing.  I don't want a dvd of mine - the photos will be enough and with all the other expense I don;t feel it is worth while.

  6. It depends. How many cameras are there? How long will they be there? I think Photography and Videography are the most important things on your big day (other than marrying the love of your life) - it's the only thing that leaves us the memory of that day! I wouldn't pay more than $2K.

  7. Congratulations by the way!  I paid our video guy £675.  He was there with one camera from 1.30pm until about 9.30pm and the results are amazing.  Makes me cry everytime I watch it. Good luck.

  8. i suppose something like that...alot of money..if i had that sort of money mind you a member of my family did mine for free...

and now getting it converted to dvd for £15...

if i had the money probs like £1000 tops

  9. Depends where in the world you are hun, i know in England it's sooooooooooo expensive ! i would rather do with out than pay those prices but in Kenya i'm paying £140.

If your on a budget why don't you go to the local collage or university and see if you can get a film student to do it for you a little cheaper or even free i'm sure they would love to gain the experience.

  10. I think we paid around $800 maybe. It was worth every penny./ There are certain things that I would splerge on and the videographer and photographer were them.
