How much would you pay per hour a very experienced babysitter in Australia??

Just wondering what you would be willing to pay, Im in queensland and dont know what to charge per hour. Ive worked years in Childcare as a groupleader but now Im a stay-home-mum looking to make a bit of extra money.

  1. Hmm well it depends how many hours for. I would probably only afford $15 an hour and thats in waking hours and just for occasional babysitting. Family day-care usually charge $12.50 an hour per child or less, like $50 for a day or something. I live in a mining town though and childcare prices are very exaggerated (like $85 a full day!!)
