ok so at school we are doing this theme park project where we make a theme park or amusment park. for the hotels we have to to a survey to see how much money you guys are willing to pay.

in my hotels (we have two)

the family hotel is for the family(no duh) its a 5 star hotel with room service, satellite tv, wifi internet, pool, room service, maids, fitness center, valet parking, and in room movies

the fancy hotel is the same thing as the family hotel but in the lobby there will be a casino for the adults and is less family friendly, more for the adults.

the Q is: how much money are you willing to pay for a suit in the hotel per night

60-180 are the ranges but you can offer less or more

i need your first name but you can just make one up if you would like it doesnt really matter

  1. My name's Angie. I'd pay around $100 for the family suite, and around $130 for the fancy suite. You sure sound like you know what to offer guests at a hotel, I'd stay at either one for sure.

  2. family hotel - It depends on the hours the pool is open.  If it's only open during the day and early evening, definitely cheap.  If it's open at least from 6AM to midnight, I'd be willing to pay closer to $100.  That's because I just want to use the pool when the amusement park is closed, either right when I get up or right before going to bed.

  3. my name is Daniel for the family one ill pay $80 dollars because it's for the family and it's not a bad deal, for the lobby casino hotel ill pay like $100 dollars because it's for adults and it has a casino and all that.

  4. Okay, well, first off, you need to specify where these hotels are located.  I live in Kansas City, MO.  We have a decent sized, very nice, amusement park and a water park.  There are hotels just outside of the park, but I'm sure that they aren't nearly the price of hotels outside of say, Disney. I know that if you venture just 4 hours south of us to Branson, there is a significant difference in hotel prices.  Will either of your hotels be providing vans/cars to and from the amusement park?  Will the price be included, and how late will they run?  Will we be able to purchase any discount tickets to the park if we stay at your hotels? (Many hotels in say, Las Vegas, offer discount coupon book to many different venues when you check in).  There is a fitness center in your family hotel, but is there a day care setting provided for the children?  Is there a children's pool or slides at the bigger pool?  Sometimes, as parents, we're willing to lose a 'star' or two, if there are other accommodations made.  For example, I'll park my own SUV/mini van (no need for valet parking) if there were scheduled activities in the lobby for my children.  Then rather then the hotel owner paying for an employee to park cars, they're paying them to play with the kiddos.  Maybe rather then free in room movies, there can be a special room in the lobby where kids movies are played on a bigger screen nightly at set times.

As for your adult hotel, are there going to be any clubs?  Will there be 'theme' parties on certain nights? (Karaoke, 80's night, stuff like that).  What about happy hour, with half priced drinks and appetizers?

Anyhow, this is the kinds of things you should consider.  All of these would alter your prices range significantly.

    Good Luck on your project!
