How much would you pay to have someone clean your entire house. I'm talking about sweeping, mopping, or vaccuming every room in the house. Washing dishes, doing laundry, and scrubbing all bathrooms. I'm planning on putting up some flyers and really take offers I just don't know how much to charge. Thanks!

  1. The going rate in Florida is $15.00 per hour and they have the supplies when you get there.

  2. I pay my person $15 an hour.  I supply all of the products.  She does charge people more if they have a pet who sheds.  I live in North Carolina in a part of the state that is considered "poor" economically.  So you would have to adjust from there for where you live.  I would think on your initial visit, you would spend  more hours getting the house up to speed.  Then to maintain it, you would spend less hours.  Also some people may only want certain areas done like floors and/or bathrooms.

  3. i wouldn't.  as annoying as this can be, it's just something i can't pay for.

  4. It all depends on the area on which you live in. Here in Washington state they charge anywhere from $12-24 per hour. $12 if they supply the chemicals and 24 if you have a "team" of workers and you supply all the stuff (i.e. chemicals, vaccume, mops, ect.) I would say if you wanted to help the elderly to charge a flat rate, when you go to there house and give them a quote of 30-50 bucks depending on what they wanted done. People like flat rates rather than a hourly rate, makes them think they are getting a deal...

    Hope this helps...
