Would you pay a responsible sixteen year old to watch your toddlers for $5/hr and $50 overnight?

This is a matter of opinion, so just answer what YOU think. :)

  1. If it were for 3 or less hrs., I would raise the hourly wage to 10$ an hr. (make it worth her time).  It it were an overnight babysit, $50/$40 sounds about right.

  2. i would pay her 5 dalllors an hour and give her 40 dollars for the over night 40 $ is what the state pays for dcfs children and then they pay 6and a half an hour but you need to go to clwasses to get regestered

  3. THat sounds fair

  4. I was paid 7.00/hr. for three kids. For overnights it was about 65.00. Hope that helps!

  5. I would say $5/hr for the first kid $3/hr a kid after that.

  6. 10 bucks

  7. It all depends on if you see yourself placing your most valued possession, YOUR CHILD, in the hands of someone who cares as much as you.    How much do you pay per day for your car to be parked safely or garaged while you work?

No matter what you pay a sitter, do a background check and set some non-negotiable rules of conduct.

  8. My sister pays her 17 year old baby sitter $10 an hour and $75 for overnight starting at 7:00pm until whatever time she wants to wake up in the morning.

  9. How many toddlers?

If 2+ I'd pay at least $8-$10. If 2 then I'd pay $6 or $7 as that is about minimum wage for most 16 year-olds. $50 is good for an overnight.
