How much would you say the cost of living has actually gone up within the last year or so?

I figure I get my cost of living raise - but it's not really covering the cost of living - so it made me wonder how much it has actually gone up recently.

Depending on your location, the inflation varies.  However, chances are your raise does not cover the inflation.   Electronics and clothing have gone up by 2-4%.  Food items such as milk went up by 27%.

Look for ways to decrease your spending is the best way to feel rich.

I'm not sure but a freakin' ton! I got a 3% raise last year which would have added about $600 to my annual salary. Gas is outragious, fruit and vegetable prices have almost doubled. Our daycare cost went up so they could afford to pay their employees the minimum wage increase.
