He's a 15.1 hh TB/QH/Standardbred gelding. 5 Years old. He goes w/t/c started over fences. He can jump a 2 foot course with simple changes. Leg yeilds. Will go in a frame if asked. Can w/t/c on a loose rein. Trail rides on a loose rein too. Not spooky... Not much scares this guy. Eager to learn and to please. Some show experience.

  1. I would say 7000, only because he is young. I LOVE the way he jumps.

  2. looks great... idk with the sucky market.. maybe $6000

  3. He looks amazing! He's still young though, so I'm guessing around $5,000. I'd pay that much for him.

  4. I would think in today's market you could get about $4,000 for him.  He's really cute and sounds like he has a great personality!  If you could show him some and win some ribbons, you could probably up his price some.

  5. i was about to buy a 7year old tb/qh 7 years old w/t/c jumped 3 ft with simple changes; he was with 8500

so i'm guessing your horse is probably like 6500-7500

  6. I'd say probably $10,000 tops...mainly because he's very young, and doesn't  have many miles on him yet...although he's VERY cute, he doesn't have the exact form of a very stylish/effective hunter/jumper (I don't mean to offend you...he's adorable, i just want to explain the reasons). However, his form isn't really bad either...his knees are just a bit looser than desired is all... I'd say he's more likely to be about $7,000 give or take a little...If he gets into frame well, and carries himself well, he may make a reasonable dressage prospect for someone looking to start showing in the lower level dressage tests...

Honestly though, the comment about his legs only applies to the first picture...he otherwise looks like a very decent h/j...he has an eager expression over the fences, and the 2nd/3rd pictures show that he can and will tighten up over fences...he also looks like he has a nice/careful technique...

Like I said...mainly age is the reason, as he looks excellent and seems to have a great personality

    He's REALLY cute though!!!

ADD: OOO! And, by the looks of it, he's a snaffle-mouth! That gets a few extra points in my book ^_^

  7. Im guessing hes not registered being qh tb and sadle bred crossed that deducts from his price he is cute and jumps pretty good ears up and looks happy about it i bet he shows good they want the horse to look like injoys jumping considering that he is 5 years old still young but old enough to have a good foundation of traing I would say yo could sell him for $6,500 but if he was registered you could probably get $15,000 either all quarter horse or all thoroughbred

  8. hm.. the max price i would say would be $10,000

    because he's young

the third picture would really help with selling though. its really good :)

  9. He is a very cute horse! Has a nice jump.  Because he is young, I would say about 6,000-8,000.  You can raise the price as he gets more miles on him.  I would recommend showing a horse with that potential.  Don't waste him!!!  His value will be raised, as well if you win some ribbons off him.  He is a beautiful horse!

  10. Oh my, he is all kind of cute.  I'll bet he's got a good mind, with the STB and the QH in him.  Any show experience?  What were his parents like?  Do you have a conformation shot or two?  That would help a lot.  I like the looks of him very much.

  11. He jumps really really good!!!

I would pay around 10,000 or more for him. with a little more training he could be an "A" show horse. I know someone who paied 20,000 and the horse was a stoper but if they could make him not stop(which this rider could) he won everytime. It also depends on the people...back yard and schooling show riders would not pay much. But people looking for a childrens hunter prospect for "A" shows would pay much more.

    sorry about my spelling lol

  12. 5000-8000

only because he's young and still not that experienced

but he sure is adorable! and handsome of course haha

  13. he seems to be an irresistably cute horse for someone first starting to show

    probably around $5,000

  14. id say about 5000 to 8000. hes very pretty. :)

  15. i would pay three to four grand on him.

  16. Im guessing around the 8,000-10,000+.

It looks really good and its really pretty.

I dont think a horse like that comes very cheap. x]

    Have you asked the owner?
