How much would you spend if Michael Phelps sold his gold medal?

I think it would only sell for how much the gold is worth so about 500 to 1000,

my friend thinks it would sell for a million or more..

what are your opinions?

I don't have any money to buy that. But I would guess some rich billionaire would buy it for a million because Phelps is the all time Gold medal winner.

Me personally, I wouldn't buy it. Michael Phelps worked hard to achieve what he did and I could never take it from him. Never. Even if he'd make a million dollars. Unfortunately it would sell for probably a million.
