How much money do you think the average 24 year old has in their bank account?

i dont know, but i'm 26 (almost 27) and i dont have any savings.

EDIT: i do want to add that my friend, also 26, has about 10000 in savings, BUT she didnt got to college, thus did not pay back student loans like a lot of people in their 20s are AND she's lives at home. i've been out of the house since 24, about 1 1/2 years after graduating college.

so it really depends. if you're living at home and havent went to college, then you should be saving everything. if you're living at home period, you should have more money. i also have a 4 month old son, but of course my fiance helps w/ bills, so i'm destitute; just a typical woman living paycheck to paycheck

Most 24 year olds don't have a clue how to manage or save money, so I would say most have less than $500.
