  1. My utilities have shockingly gone down.

My electricity was costing us $300+ a month and was floored at the last two bills amounting too $135. That's the lowest we've had in 2 years. But, we did change out every single light bulb to those whirly kinds but still, using the a/c all day and fans and such, it's still shockingly low to us.

  2. Gas is now $3.89 or so

Electric is about $150  ( for now, wait til July and Aug hit)

    Water is about $50

    Cable is $165

    Cell is $100

    Trash is $15

    Phone is about $48

Our electric rates have gone up over 20% in the past two years -- the most recent raise was 12 % in April of 08.  The papers are already saying the rates will go up again in the next few weeks.

My husband and I are both college educated and we are JUST getting by on what we both make. I can remember there was a time if you just went to college--you would have been  considered  "well to do".  NOT now.....

  3. $50 per month.

  4. Electricity is the next item on the list to bust your billfold wide open. Thank libs for no new oil resources. They are responsible. Remember them when you vote.

  5. Gasoline is about $4.50 a gallon.

    Electric averages $100.00 a month.

    T-Mobile $128.00 a month (3 phones).

    Trash $50.00 a month.

Natural gas, avg. $60.00 a month per year.

  6. for utilities, i pay about 50 per month. i pay 4.50 for gas.......yucky
