How mutch gear oil do i put in my 1996 mustang gt

i don't know how much gear oil i need to put in my 1996 ford mustang gt. 5 speed manual transmission thank you

IF you haven't checked it first you may want to. some of these trans. run ATF. But either way you need to fill it until the fluid begins to trickle out of the fill hole.

Gooey is right.The T-5 transmission you have is suppose to use ATF fluid.I know that sounds dumb considering its a manual transmission but thats what Ford puts in them directly from the factory,however you can use gear lube but your shifting may not be as smooth and i dont recommend mixing the 2 together.You need to remove the fill plug at the side of the tranny and keep filling the transmission til it runs out of the hole itself.There are no dipsticks to check the level of the fluid.This is just the way it is.Really high tech huh??
