Man hawaii is one of the most beautifullest countries of the world. The beaches are way up clean and very clear. If have lived on the big iland for one year and still missing it after 10 years. But it is quiet expensive you need to bring a lot of cass.

Anyways, I live here in Hawaii, born and raised...

and it is really expensive. But only when you live here, for vacation... it's a little expensive, our tax is 4.712%.

and since our items sold here are basically shipped from the mainland, it about and extra $1-2 more than usual.

but its fun for vacationing.

Beaches..

Hmm. NOPE, not all beaches are clean.

but this depends on what island you are staying on.

i live on Oahu, and trust me... Its a far drive to get to a nice clean beach.

but then again, people from Hawaii have a totally different feel for beaches than people from the mainland.

the beaches are generally clean compared to mainland ones, but as a local I have to say there are beaches that I would consider "dirty"  when compared to the other beaches on the island. For example Alamoana beach in my opinion is "dirty" but to alot of mainlanders, i guess you would consider it quite clean. Sandy beach is exactly that. SUPER sandy, so expect to get covered in sand, everywhere but Sandy beach is much cleaner than Alamoana.

Also Hawaii is REALLY expensive. Unfortunately for me, I live in Honolulu where there are lots of tourists so I have to go shopping at a mall where they jack up all the prices.  ESPECIALLY Waikiki. If you plan on coming here, do not buy those hawaiian shirts for 20 dollars. It is not worth it. Unless you are loaded, then by all means go for it. so I guess if you want to come here, brings lots of money with you.
