  1. Usually no more than $5.00 at a time. I live in a crazy world. Thus, I use plastic. This is the best way for me. I always let the credit card people know that I will be shopping at a certain store or that I will be in another suburb or city. Then I don't have a problem with them when I shop in 'odd areas.' They know NOT to let anything be purchased by me or anyone when I haven't notified them. Peace!

  2. I usually keep $20 in my purse. I also keep $200 in my sock drawer (my safe ;).

  3. No more than $20 bucks in my wallet, every one takes credit cards and they are alot easier to get back if stolen.  I keep no more than $100 bucks in my house, so breaking in my home would be a huge waste of time

  4. Once the cash hits my purse, it's gone because it ends up going to a bill, gas or groceries.  I'm lucky to see $5

  5. $5-20 AND MAYBE CHANGE. I TRY NOT TO WITHDRAW BECAUSE I  KNOW IF I HAVE CASH IT WILL BE SPENT. SO I KEEP MONEY IN THE BANK.

  6. If I had any, I would not know what to do with it.  =)

  7. I usually draw $100 from an ATM when I get down to not enough for lunch.  I pay cash for meals, beverages, or small amounts of groceries (debit card for larger amounts).  I-Pass for tolls is replenished from debit.  I use credit for gas (paid off every month), and another card for reimbursable business expenses.  The only cash in my house might be accumulated change.

My boss never trusted ATM's, and while I do not ride with him much anymore, I remember him stopping at the drive-up about every day to cash a small check (maybe $25).
