  1. Drink a few sips before and after running. You cant drink to much water right away, because you will cramp up.

  2. For me its always about hydrating really well before I go out for a long run..........I've done some long distances (over 8 Mi.) in very warm weather without even drinking the whole time.  I'm OK, but when I'm done I've got plenty of fluids to replenish what I've lost during my run.

  3. i drink as much as much as 5 times when i jog or run

  4. Never, you don't really need to drink when you run. You need to be hydrating throughout the day and before and after runs. I usually run around 3 in afternoon and never take water with me.

  5. It depends.  I never drink if I'm running under 9 miles, even when it gets really hot out.  I hydrate a tremendous amount before I go for long runs, though.

The long routes are planned to coincide with drinking fountains.  I usually drink 1 time until about 15 miles, and 2-3 for longer runs.

  6. I don't drink while I'm running, only before and after

  7. I do not drink when  I run because that can lead to cramps or nausea..I usually hydrate all day though and stop drinking about an hour before I run.

  8. its not often that I drink something when I go running.. depends on my distance.. just a short 5 miles run.. no .. but more than 15 miles.. yeah... I drink something.. and sometimes a energy snack....
