  1. Then instructions should be on the label.

Typically, formula fed babies eat every 3-4 hours until they are 2 months old.. then you can go a bit longer inbetween feeds.

Just follow the instructions then and you should be fine.

    Good luck <3

  2. My 2 week old eats every 3 1/2 to 4 hours, and she eats 4 ounces at a time.  She is on formula too.

  3. A baby that young should be fed on demand , and not having you focusing on whether he/she is going to be "fat" or not !

It annoys me the amount of mothers that dont want overweight babies.. Yes I can understand when they are kids and bit bigger but gees you feed a baby on how much milk they want as they know what they need and go through growth spurts ! yes there is a guide line out there for people to follow but each baby and appitite is different !  you have to worry about baby being overweight when you feed them solid foods whether you feed them healthy or not .  some babies are chubby NOT FAT as that just how they are and they normally grow out of it..

And just for the record formula fed babies tend to be the CHUBBY babies so maybe you should of stuck to the breast !

  4. My pediatrician told me to add 2 to the number of months to get the correct ounces to feed a baby.  Your baby is less than one month so 0+2=2oz., at one month 1+2=3oz.  Also, I would recommend Nestle Good Start.   It is in a few different varieties, but I used the orange and my daughter was sleeping through the night and happy within a week of changing the formula.  With Similac you can see all the air bubbles when you shake it up, with Good Start the bubbles are completely gone.  Everyone I know who has used or switched to that loves it and sees a huge difference.

Two weeks is way too early to start food.  Just formula should work.  It is very hard to know what a newborn needs so just stick to a very strict schedule and it will really help you get to know your baby and take a lot of guessing out of it.

Typically a baby should eat every 2-4 hours.  My children would eat an ounce more than they were supposed to but they would eat less often.

DON'T BE AFRAID TO CALL YOUR PEDIATRICIAN.  THAT IS WHAT THEY ARE THERE FOR!!!!
