How often and long do I run the pump for?

I just bought a little tikes 12ft X 36in pool. I was wondering if anybody knows how long and how often I need to run the pump for.

We only run ours for about 2 or 3 hours in the morning then cut it off when it gets hotter..than another couple hours in the afternoon when it starts to cool down again
