How often are faux posts used in blogs to inflate the perceived number of people who hold a certain view?

For example, how often, when you see a ridiculous, anonymous, non-sensical post that claims changing political allegiances because of a candidate's unworthiness, do you think it is actually part of an organized, dishonest smear tactic?

  2. every single time. it would be dangerous for me to take my opinion off the internet blogs/posts by random people.
