How often are people stuck in elavators?

I am pretty sure that something like this will be very hard to find but at the same time I would say that thousands get stuck everyday......

Not that often. Not sure why it matters.

I imagine it happens more often than we realize. I used to work at a place that had really old elevators. Someone was always working on them. About four people I work with got stuck in one of the elevators for over an hour. The phone inside the elevator didn't work. Only 1 person out of the 4 could get a signal to call for help. I'm so glad it them at not me. After that happen I no longer took the elevator.

i work on a college campus, and the elevators are so crappy.  we get at least 4 calls a week, telling us to get people out.

Dont want to hang around to find out! i get all claustrophobic in them and avoid it at all costs.
