How often are security cameras looked at?

im wondering how often a high school classroom security camera would be checked on a daily occasion if nothing like a school shooting happened

This is a "it depends" answer. It depends on the security personnel, or other staff who have access to the security monitors (or captured videos). Answer could be "constantly", "once in a while", and even "never". If the video is actually captured daily, but this is done automatically (no security guard sitting at a monitor), then most likely the videos are never viewed unless something happens (fight, theft, fire alarm, etc...).
