  1. *** far as i am aware giving blood once every 6 months is healthy .There is no reason for you to give more than that , if you think if more people gave just once there would be no reason to give but only once a year.

  2. Giving whole blood requires a waiting period of 56 days between donations. If you donate plasma (your red cells are returned to you), you may donate every 28 days. If you donate platelets (your red cells and most of your plasma are returned to you), you may donate every two days, with a maximum of two times per week and 24 times per year.

  3. Whole Blood

You must wait a minimum of 56 days between whole blood donations. You must wait at least 72 hours after donating blood before you can donate platelets.

    Platelets

You can donate platelets once in a seven day period and up to 24 times a year. You must wait at least 72 hours after donating platelets before donating whole blood.

In any eight (8) week period, you can make one blood donation and one platelet donation or six (6) platelet donations.

  5. Its totally depend on ur Environment.

If ur surrounding is full of Mosquito, u can donate blood every evening.

But after 4-6 month , u can donate d blood again

  6. I am not sure. I donated blood and I got a T-Shirt saying " Be nice to me, I donated my blood". I also got a button.

I donated my blood twice. I am going there this month so it's going to be my third, but I haven't done that in a long time.

I have type AB blood. Very valuable.

  9. In the UK  the normal is twice per year,  unless you have one of the rarer groups and they then call you when needed.
