Its a Craftsman 26hp DYS 4500.

  1. Once a season is sufficiant.  a heavy 30 wgt oil. Do not use a multi weight (10W-30 or 40) as it is lighter and eventually sieze the enngine.

    Also you could look in the owners manual or go to your local Sear's store.

  3. once per season is sufficient.  Brand of oil isn't as important as the weight of the oil.  Consult the manufacturers manual on the motor for the proper weight or you may void the waranty.
