It can't be that good for them to stay in shape and eat McDonald's so why is McDonald's the "official restaurant and proud sponsor" of the US olympic team?

  1. different athletes are on different diets. I would imagine that on average the most olympic athlese could a meal at mcdonalds once a week or two with getting out of shape.

  2. Well it would vary wouldn't it? Some athletes can eat Maccas because they would just burn it off again. But other athletes won't ever eat it because they are on totally strict diets.

McDonalds are sponsoring the olympics coz they have enough money to do it, and they want the advertising.

  3. McDonald's was recently voted a B-, for ratings actually, other fast food chains were rated below it.

I actually work at McDonald's, in San Diego, Chargers players like Shawn Merriman, Clinton Hart, and LT pass by all the time, ordering a bundle of food.

I wouldn't doubt it if Olympians at McDonalds often actually.

  4. once a week

  5. Yeah they do. Michael Phelps has been known to eat it quite a few times as well as other athletes. But due to immense training and the amount of calories and fat calories these athletes burn, it is not as bad for them as it is for us regular joes. I'm not saying that it is ok for them to eat, because it is not. It's not good for anyone. But the mechanics of their bodies make it a little easier for them to eat it. Also, Mcdonalds helps sponsor a lot of athletes to get to the Olympics as opposed to having them actually endorse and eat the product.

  6. because mcdonalds has money to sponsor them with and its good advertising

  7. never - are you kidding me?  I always laugh at the McD sponsorships but hey they're a big corporation and want the advertising and are willing to pay for it.
