Question:

How often do dogs lay eggs?

I thought I would ask, since at least half a dozen people on here think an external spawning fish can be pregnant, so I don't think an egg-laying dog is any more ridiculous.

    kiljoy.

golden retrievers and spaniels lay around an average of thirty eggs a week, however collies and labradors have been known to lay as many as a hundred, but the little dachsund only squeezes out one a month.

but a very large one, like a dragon's egg off harry potter.

my chihuahua laid a marble sized egg just 10 minutes ago, it is gold and we are going to keep it in a special cup and place it on the mantelpiece. There is even a competition next year which we will go to in New Zealand which is called creggts, where they judge eggs on size and quality, we are hoping to enter jasper for the speed in which he lays an egg, it only takes him two-hundredths of a nano-second

    dogs definetly do lay eggs.

    fact.

I agree, it's as feasable as an egg-laying dog.

  10. My dogs lays two eggs a day,I  have one every morning  for breakfast with bacon and sausage. I have stopped taking her for walks, she just flies off for several hours and then comes back and sits in a tree . Tonight she is perched on the branch of a rhubarb tree with a rabbit. I have been told that a rabbit is a funny bird it  flits from bough to bough.  I am very concerned, she normally lays her eggs in my bedroom. If she lays the eggs when she is perched in the tree, will the rabbit eat them or will the rabbit knock them off the branch when it is in full flight??
