Recently failed driving test, I would like a re-test before August 10th. Is that possible?

  1. Yes it is possible, you just have to be lucky! It depends a lot on where you take your test - some test centres have extremely long waiting times so therefore people are less likely to cancel if they know they will have to wait 10 weeks for another test!

What I recommend you do is book the earliest date (even if it is in 8 weeks!!) then just keep checking on dsa.gov.uk or (if you have money to burn) you could call them up every day to see if anyone has cancelled.

Hope you get a slot - keep looking - and good luck :)

  2. Just keep checking all the time and ask your instructor for days when it is ok for you to take your test as you don't want to book it and then it clashes with another client they have. I failed my first test and as soon as i got in i checked the website and there was a cancelation for 4 weeks later! So keep checking the website all the time.

  3. It is Very unlikely, however one of my mates had that, he passed his theory, came out and his instructer was like there is a free space, do you want it, and he passed. So it could happen, only it is very unlikely. The best thig to do is get your next one booked as soon as you can, and keep buggging your instuctor to look for cancelations.

    Good Luck with your driving
