I especially like this one!

"May 23, 1969 : A drunken U.S. Air Force crew chief started up a C-130E, 63-7789, c.n. 3856, of the 36th Tactical Airlift Squadron at RAF Mildenhall and took off in it headed for Langley AFB, Virginia. He crashed into the English Channel off Alderney shortly thereafter. There is speculation whether the Hercules was shot down."

  1. Twice per year.

  2. I try to make this a weekly goal...

    Even if I'm not drunk.

  3. All the time..they r called American West Airline pilots.

  4. Here in Alaska, it happens much more often than people like to admit. I always hear stories coming back from the bush about a drunk villager climbing into somebodys cub or cessna and trying to take off. sometimes they actually make it off the ground. usually they get stopped in the process.

  5. I guess if I saw one in the American Legion parking lot, I'd at least think about it.

  6. haha probably not very often. thats a good case though.

  7. Almost never happens, even drunk people knows that without proper flight training an airplane is just a suicide machine.
