How often do eq's happen in costa rica and where do they happen?

I've lived in Costa Rica all my life (I'm 19) and I've never felt a real earthquake. There are a few tremors here and there, but nothing to worry about!

There's very few noteworthy earthquakes in Costa Rica. Most of them happen off in the ocean.

Small and unnoticeable earthquakes happen often all over the world, though.
