  1. I use cabretta leather gloves, and go through probably 20 a year. I play between 150-250 rounds a year. Works out that I get a new one every 10 to 15 rounds.

Players on the PGA tour usually use a new glove every six holes or so, so 3 per round.

  2. Depends on how often you play.  I play about 3 times a week and go to the driving range every other day and I go through a glove in about 2-3 months.

  3. Wow.  From all the other answers, I would almost bet that they do not golf, or golf very little or do not wear gloves.  My glove lasts me three four games, and I use cabretta leather, Nike, TaylorMade, etc.  After that they get too soggy, dirty and loose, and I mean loose to the point that they are almost two sizes larger.

    I do sweat a lot.

But even for those who don't sweat, five years, or 6 months?  Jeez.

  4. It certainly varies on how much you golf and what quality glove you buy.   If you golf 'a lot', you'll go thru at least 2 pair/year.   If you buy the $5 glove from a discount store, you'll need twice that many at least.

  5. depends on when they wear out...every 2 months or every year depending upon how often he/she plays.

  6. Most golfers who consistently use gloves will purchase a new one or more when the one in use gets too cruddy, too shiny to hold the tension on the club, wears out naturally from use, or expands so that it doesn't serve the function because it fits too loosely.

  7. depends how often you play, i use them till they fall apart

  8. Golfers who tend to at least play a couple of weeks usually buy a new one every couple of months but if you play only occasionly then maybe just a couple of times a year.  It also depends on what the weather is like because if it is hot and sweaty your glove is going to last for a shorter period instead of a nice sunny cool day.

  9. I asked toward the end of last year.  Most said that it was dependent upon how often they played.  Anywhere from every 3 rounds to every 3 months.  Golf season where I live is from March-November(with a few days here and there in the winter), so I will use 3 or 4 gloves in that time span.  I try to use a black one because I seem to use those longer than the white ones.

  10. It all depends on how often you play, how tightly you hold the club, and if it gets wet or not. It usually takes me about a month or two.
