How often do i feed my 2 pet rats?

me and my bro got pet rats and and i dunno how often to feed em! ahhh this is scary!

Feed them snakes.

Give your rats fresh food and water every day. If they don't finish the food, don't just top it up, throw away the food, rinse the bowl and fill it up with a variety of food. Make sure the water is in a small animal water bottle attached to the side of the cage (do not use a water bowl, as dirt, food and other things can pollute the water).

Also make sure that the food bowl is made of a heavy material rather than plastic which can be tipped over easily.

You give them the staple diet (lab blocks) available at all times.

You supplement with fresh fruit & veggies, once every day or two, in very small portions.

My rats get Mazuri lab blocks & Oxbow Regal Rat kibble available 24/7. Daily (or every other day) they get:

- Melons (watermelon, honeydew, cantaloupe)

- Peas & carrots

- Kashi Go Lean cereal

- Total cereal

- plain uncooked oatmeal

**In rat-sized portions!**

P.S. If you have unseasoned cooked chicken in one of your meals, the rats will appreciate it dearly if you shared. :) Don't overfeed treats, but giving them something special on occasions is always well liked.

ur supposed to get a food bowl and leave it in there.  Then refill it when it's low

Keep the bowl always full, their metabolism is really high so they eat little tiny meals all day.

just put some food into their bowl, and when you see the bowl is empty, or has very little food, refill it.
