When I was a kid, I sometimes got them often, due to eating too many sweets.  Plus, don't forget the growing pains for both boys & girls.  So, I'd say it kinda varies from kid to kid, depending on their health & what they eat.

when i was little i constantly had stomach aches and i never faked it.  i don't know the technical term but it is actually something medical.  they usually go away when you're 12 or so though.  i also felt like i had to go to the bathroom (pee) all the time, but when i tried nothing would actually come out.  that's also called something, but idk that one either haha!  i missed our neighbors baptism and half a movie because i was in the bathroom trying to pee. lol.

It depends on a lot of things. When I was little I used to get stomach aches a lot because I have a milk sensitivity. It depends on the immune system and the individual child.

Gosh it depends on everyone's situation.  I have 1 kid in school that gets sick from whatever is going around at that time.  Then he brings it home to my little one.   My kids get several bugs during the winter months they always have.

Varies a LOT.

For example I used to get many many colds but I've only ever had one bug in my life.

Whereas other people I know used to/still do get tummy bugs most months.

Also, many kids fake tummy aches, but bugs are harder to fake, with the being sick and stuff.  Well I suppose there are ways of faking real tummy bugs but hopefully there are verrrry few young children that'll do that.

hmmm yeah anyway if you think your kid or whatever is getting ill too often take him/her to the doctors.  Having him/her checked out is not going to do any harm and can give you piece of mind if nothing else.

As everyone says, it depends.  My oldest is 9 and my kids have only once had a stomach bug (knock on wood).  But boy was that one time a doozy -- all four kids plus my husband were sick as dogs.

Depends on the child/teen and what virus in going around.  My 6yo and 11yo catch EVERYTHING that goes around .. my 8yo has has the stomach flu only once in his whole life (he has a strong immune system, he also only has had two colds and never the flu. since pre-K he hasn't missed one day of school).

Depends on a lot of factors. Some kids are genuinely sick multiple times a year. Some kids fake it a lot. Some kids are never sick.
