How often do people check secret camera footage?

i was just curious... do they check it daily, weekly, monthly??! or more?

(if it were a home "hidden camera")

I guess that would depend on the person who knows about it. how motivated are they to watch it?

It depends.  In Portland Oregon there's a llight rail line with hidden cameras in the trains.  One rail car was in service for several months with a lense cap on one of the cameras.
