Headsets are very popular amongst players with games that support online play like Call of Duty 4 to communicate with other players and/or friends to converse or come up with a strategy. I use a headset for both of these reasons.

If you are looking for a cordless headset, the best one around is the Logitech Cordless Vantage Headset. Though it is a little pricy at around $60.00 - $80.00, it projects your voice clearly to the other players.

-In the Future

Logitech is currently releasing a new headset that COVERS BOTH EARS. It's the Logitech ClearChat Pro USB Headset. "It features proprietary laser-tuned audio drivers, an audio equalizer switch and a noise-canceling microphone..." - tech2.com. The price of this headset is currently unknown. If you have time on your hands and have a bunch of cash in your pocket I'd wait and buy it.

yea i use a headset all the time, i think you should get a logitec wired headset, the wireless bluetooth headset some can be alright but most of them suck, motorolla bluetoothes are expensive and suck for the ps3 even if it sais "perfect for the ps3" because thats what mine said and it SUCKS!! the wired logitec headset is very clear and is inexpensive, i found mine at gamestop and ill never want anything else!

yea mostly everyone does... but then again it depends what game you are playing..... and just to let you know the games may lag a little when you connect it
