How often do women batter men?

I'd think it's way more common than people think. These days too women are so tough, I'd almost be afraid some of them would hit ME!

I guess it's just in a way more understandable for a woman to hit a man than the other way around, because unless the woman uses objects or something they can't really hurt the man that much.

I don't think women will only do this in retaliation either, I actually think some chicks these days will instigate it! Some women are so hardass these days.

Every once in a while a survey gets published showing that men get battered about as often as women.  Because it is more embarrassing it is more under-reported (supposedly both are under-reported).  

In some areas where any police response to domestic  violence has to result in someone being arrested some surveys show that under-reporting is going back up for both classes of battering.

Women batter more often than men.  Feminists created VAWA so that female battering is considered justified while male battering is a crime.
