there's an metaphor in Czech language describing an indolent person as "someone who's gazing at God's windows"... what can be nicer and less boring than... gazing on God's window?

  1. Someone who stares at God's windows is someone who enjoys the view and the excitement but makes no effort to join the community, to share in the worship. It is a person who would rather sit back and get the benefits of hard work, without actually doing it. Though, I agree that nothing could be better than God's windows :)

  2. In that case, I'm quite the voyeur at times.  : )

  3. There are times when I allow myself to just laze and observe the beauty of the world around me -it's good for the soul to do this from time to time. I just don't want to make too much of a habit of it while I'm still in my income earning years.
